lulz, you forgot folklore as an arpg exclusive. at anyrate, jrpgs are for handhelds this gen, the only jrpgs for consoles im personly looking forward to are all tri-ace made games, WKC, VERSUS XIII, VP3-HD, CL II, and a couple others that i cant seem to remember.

Star Ocean 4 for the xbox 360 and Valkyria Chronicles for the PS3 are the only jrpg's worth playing this gen as of right now for the consoles imo.

@claude i dont like tales games after legendia lol. and wii games dont count in my book, only the HD ones do, of course thats just my personal preference.

the 360 may have more but most are shit. the only good ones are Lost Odyssey(ok), Vesperia, and....um....ok besides that IU, TLR, and uh,...Project Sylpheed = big pile of grade-A monkey crap. don't know about SO4, but I'm not interested because it looks very "westernized".

Two of them are strategy games, two are multiplats and other two aren't even out here yet.

Xbox 360 has Star Ocean Last Hope, Tales of Vesperia, Blue Dragon, Infinite Undiscovery, Enchanted Arms, The Last Remnant, Eternal Sonata and Lost Odyssey. That's not including the Strategy ones. IDK what the Wii has.

Anyway, OP, even though we can count sRPGs as jRPGs it is clear that most PS3 owners have zero interest in them (going by sales figures) When people complain about the lack of jRPGs on PS3 they usually mean traditional jRPG games. And there really is the lack of such titles on the console.

Many RPG developers were/are still developing for the PS2 and the handhelds. In a year or two I expect them to come around, especially once FFXIII comes out and most RPG fans will have a reason to graduate to the PS3. Then the market will be there for RPG's on the PS3. Till then it doesn't make much sense to produce an RPG on the PS3 when you can do it for the PS2 or the handhelds.
