I think your sales predictions for Japan are overly ambitious. The console is already sitting at twenty thousand units. After a week of double digit decline. Further more those sales are being propped up by EG5. This game made up over two thirds of software sales on the console.

However EG5 only moved twenty five thousand units last week. I think the momentum has really been spent. I think that game will enjoy around fifteen thousand in sales, and the console will see eighteen thousand in sales next week. The week after that the game will hit ten thousand and the console should probably be around fifteen thousand in sales.

Right now the game and the console seem linked in fortunes. Consumers are buying the console for this specific game. However sales are waning, and the game is starting to out perform the console sales. The attach rate must be maxing out at this point. The spike is going to fall away.

Will they count Warhawk sales from PSN or will they only factor in retail?

Resistance has sold over 1.5 million copies already. Unless Warhawk does Halo-like numbers, this is an impossibility.
