Ok, I finally got to play it. It has the same type of physics based play as in LBP. The graphics aren't nearly at the same level, but you also don't have to worry about the jumping getting wonky and landing on unexpected areas. You are a cross between a ball and a monkey, so you almost always have momentum.

I didn't get to try to level editor though.
