its just too weird of a concept. i really dont see it attracting kids anyway, i mean when i was a kid i was playing zelda, and other mainstream games not weird games about bugs. even now its a game where id like to play it, but i prob wopuldnt spend money on it because its a risk, i might not like it. whereas i knew that id enjoy HotD

Wii fans didn't hype it enough. Take note from the Sony boards people, and maybe you will save a game or two in the future :P

I bought Deadly Creatures last week and I have to say that I'm quite enjoying it. Yes, it does have the odd glitch here and there (I once had the screen go all green just because I jumped), but it's fun. The creepiness only adds to this IMO.

However, if THQ threaten to abandon the hardcore Wii crowd because this bombed, after declaring they would do absolutely no advertising for it at all, then I shall abandon THQ altogether. They can't possibly expect to sell such a unique game with no advertising.

 Something like THIS needs heavy advertisement.Any Call of Duty or something with the box-art of Ninja Gaiden might sell well without any help but let's face it,deadly creatures should have been more advertised and as some1 mentioned earlier,anime watchers and (I add)probably metal rock fans and peeps dat spend a lot of time watching documentaries/horror movies or reading encyclopedias......there definitely are potential customers.I for one will be getting this.

I got it. It's great fun with excellent fighting controls.

People should give it a go.

Maybe it will have really great legs because people will slowly realise its value.A sequel,DLC or an advert by Tobey Macguire might make it a good franchise and not aone-hit-wonder!

I think a combination of poor marketing, average reviews and competition from Tenchu/Onechebra (how do you spell it?) now and Madworld and The Conduit in the coming months which both have more hype/media attention behind them. Also, with the majority of Wii owners being part of the expanded audience this was always going to be a niche title on Wii.

I used to be a little boy, and I would have loved this game. In fact, I'm pretty sure I'd love this game now. In fact, I'm probably going to buy it as soon as I get some cash (not that anecdotal evidence counts for much)


I'm not sure if I want to live in a world where people don't want to pretend to be a bug killing other bugs and creepy crawlies. What the hell is wrong with humanity?
