Does it still have to be plugged into the wii remote. If so it's not improved to much.

Yes it does. Do you really want to waste more money on batteries?

Thats I minor gripe though I guess a big one for you. I dont have a problem with it. Btw if you see the cord at the top in the image I posted you would have your answer.

Or the cord could plug in to the GC ports...

Nintendo still doomed?
Feel free to add me on 3DS or Switch! (PM me if you do ^-^)
Nintendo ID: Mako91                  3DS code: 4167-4543-6089

ITs un uglier, wired and more unconfortable (by the looks of things) PS2 pad. Well done nintendo. Nintendo should labell everything that they are using from last gen "PRO".

It looks so ugly but if it fits in one hands better than I am all for it. I use the classic controller for my VC games and sometimes even Brawl, so it would be nice to have one that feels a bit more comfortable.

95% of gamers don't know they are noobs, the 5% who do won't be noobs for long

Am I to understand that the meaning of wired has changed from "connected to the console in question" to "actually having one wire, anywhere"?

Connecting to the Wii remote is the difference between this thing costing twenty dollars and forty dollars.

The bad: No Wirless controller,No Rumble,No campatibility with GameCube games, high price for the same stuff as classic Controller already released, the position of the two analogs are like the dualshocks and that by design is a flaw(in my book).

The Good: Ergonomical design for the Cube gribs, 4 shoulder Buttons corrected.

I still cannot understand why nintendo doen't re-release the wavebird design with rumble and a better button layout like the classic controller, add the same pad as classic's controller with rumble. With Compatibility with GameCube and VC games. That i would glady pay to have.

Because I have to spend more money on non-game peripherals to get the benefit of this?

I would cite regulation, but I know you will simply ignore it.

It is a huge improvement. But it still suffers from being jack of all trades, master of none. Because the GC controller only had to cater to new games, it could make 3d games much easier to play, by having a control stick at top left instead of bottom left. And the ABXY button placement is still SNES-like, making it not as good for playing games like Brawl.

But yes, all the changes were great ones
