Compared to Gill in SF3 Third strike...hes a baby.

I don't think the other games wre difficult but rather just challenging which I liked. As for the boss, I think he's cheap. A boss who constantly disappears and reappears constantly doesn't make a boss fun to fight just frustrating. I like a boss who uses good teqnique instead of being cheap to be tough.

EXACTLY! that was how i was feeling when i couldnt get close enough to hit him with anything minus a fireball, sonicboom, etc. And his double projectiles!!! WTF! he still puts up a fun challenge, but it is bull the way he is made to be the über god like character... but IMO still not as cheap as Abel.

Edit: Seth is reallly cheep.... u cant be far away from him cause hes got sonic boom/ strechy arms.... u cant be next to him cause his grapples are one of the (if not the) fastest in the game...u cant be above him cause he has the ken uppercut..... u cant be behind him cause he dosent let cause he teleports all the time.... and his ultra combo takes up the whole screen!! the only way to dodge it is if by some remote miracle youre obove him... WTF! the only way i could beat him with bison was to do the leg sweep over and over again untill he died... AND I HOPE HIS DEATH WAS A PAINFULL ONE!

I was on the side of... Seth is too hard and so on, until I played it on Easiest setting, and got into it for awhile. I didn't even do any really special moves, or super attacks, ultimates or whatever you want to call them. Want difficult, consider the final boss from DOA 4? That boss was annoyingly hard I found, but I manage.

Anyhow, here are a few tips for people struggling:
1. Set the game on the easiest setting, and only ONE round. Your objective is to get through and unlock characters.
2. Do a mix of high and low attacks. Consider a jump kick, and then a foot sweep. Also, mix in some punches. Consider also mapping the controls so they work better. I have strongest and weakest punches and kicks mapped to the diamond button configuration on front, and the medium on top.
3. For me, characters that do charge moves are easier to play than those where you have to do rotation on the controls and so on. It is why I tend to go with M. Bison and Guile.
4. Be patient. Joypads aren't the best way to play.
5. Go to Gamefaqs.com to get some strategy guides. This is important if you want to be able to unlock characters.

After a few hours of play, I was able to finally unlock just about everything except the final two characters where I have to perform Ultras or whatever. Sorry, I am just not that much into it.

Keep in mind, I am an immensely mediocre player, if that, and I was abloe to do it.

What i dont like about the game that i noticed when i was playing on hardest was that the comp always uses focus attacks and grabs/throws. I want to fight, not to play grab ass. That was one thing that truly disappointed me, however, playing against other people makes up the difference. I dont think that zengief is really all that cheap, it is just his entire game IS grabs. Abel, on the other hand, can also pound you if your timing is on point. But Abel is SUPER grab happy, he's pulled me out of plenty of Ultra combos, that Bastard! lol. But still, a worthy title to own.
