Let's wait and see what hoppens in regards to Kill Zone 2s impact on PS3 hardware sales. It will more than likely not have a dramatic impact on hardware sales. Small boost for a two weeks than PS3 hardware will fall back to normal sales rates.

probably no much in the states. It will be much like gears 2. Sell lots of copies but not move much hardware. Most people who really really want this game have a PS3 already. Prolly an additional 50-100000 units WW

Possibly a short boost for a month or so like with MGS4, but nothing HUGE.

If the price drop is coupled with the release of KZ2, then yes- ps3 should be selling fairly well after that.

Seriously doubt it. It ain't MGS4 or GTA4.

I think people are not giving enough credit to the game. Lets not forget what Gears Of War did for the 360 back in 2006(Lots of people who I knew at least whoswore they would never buy a 360 went out and bought one for this game back then). I see a substantial amount of PS3's being sold in Europe due to this game and a moderate amount in the Americas.

I'm expecting a pretty big increase in Europe.
America is kinda tough to say but I don't think the boost will be that big.

Just like everyone is saying in EU yes in the US maybe alittle.

I expect a fair increase in Europe. As for the U.S well apparently some shops are providing incentives to custormers this week so this will help the ps3 sales there too.

I really doubt that the ps3 will outsell the xbox360 in the February (or March) NPD though unlike what it did in June 2006 during MGS4' launch.

A nice boost for a short while perphaps. 360 kind of owns the FPS category. Sony should have concentrated on GT5 instead.
