I can sorta see them making a Halo MMORPG. If the last 4 years taught us anything, commercial licenses for pretty much anything is up for grabs to be transformed into a MMORPG. That's where I'll put my money really.

Serves them right. They should have known how Microsoft feels about such behavior. Look at how MS owned Level-5 for trying to make True Fantasy Live Online.

Don't you dare mock Ensemble.  Halo Wars looks to be easily the best console RTS ever, and will be by far the best selling ever.  They are some of the best (and my personal favorite) RTS devs in the world, and I'm sure their quality would've transferred over to other genres (at least somewhat).

They were the crown jewel of Microsoft's first party line up for me, and now they're gone.

I'll miss you Ensemble.  :'(

I wonder if this means they will continue Master Chief's story... would be nice.

 Ive preordered Halo wars and loved the demo. The studio had some serious skilz. However, MS isn't stupid... and if Halo MMORPG was really good nad something that would benefit the Halo name I doub't they would have canceled it. Nevertheless, sorry to see Ensamble go...
