Forums - Microsoft - Microsoft Hates Lesbians

Well, it is Microsoft's site and their rules. Not saying the rules are right, but people agree to them, even if they don't read them. It shows the problem with closed-end systems.

Has Sony had any of these type of issues (or related)? I imagine Nintendo does not because of its number-codes (which would be a lot better if they were universal for all games).

I am Mario.

I like to jump around, and would lead a fairly serene and aimless existence if it weren't for my friends always getting into trouble. I love to help out, even when it puts me at risk. I seem to make friends with people who just can't stay out of trouble.

Why is everyone saying "Think of the kids?"

Maybe parents should just do their damn job and let the adults enjoy the service as well.

Parents CAN prevent profile viewing.

Straight from the website.

Profile Viewing with Xbox 360

Decide whether your child can see other gamer's profiles. A profile includes information about a member's online achievements and game history. It can also contain a gamer's motto, which may be inappropriate for children.

To set your child's profile viewing options for Xbox LIVE:

1. Go to My Xbox and open System Settings.
2. Select Family Settings, Xbox LIVE Controls.
3. Sign in using the e-mail address and password that you used when you set up your child's Xbox LIVE account.
4. Select Privacy and Friends, Profile Viewing.
5. Select Everyone, Friends Only, or Blocked.

To configure your child's settings for new online friends (including settings for approving friend requests), see New Online Friends for Xbox 360.

Okay, let's just compare this to a 12-year-old on xbox live. He's annoying, says weird things for no reason, and you just don't want to play games with em.

Now, for people to follow this person through different games on xbox live, she must have done something to piss some people off. This is "it's" version of the story. I mean, just bothering one f the millions of people on xbox live is useless. They must hve had a reason.

Off topic: Real lesbians are ugly :p

Had to correct you here, unless I am reading it wrong but either way from my view here it doesn't seem right.

"This is "it's" version of the story".

Correct would be to say:

"This is "her" version of the story".

Unless "it's" is referring to the site linked in the OP.

The reason must be as simple as that: they were bigots and/or ignorant fools and making a lesbian's time on XBox Live as miserable as possible was probably a lot of fun for them.

If anyone bothers to report you, yep they should according to their TOS.

Current-gen game collection uploaded on the profile, full of win and good games; also most of my PC games. Lucasfilm Games/LucasArts 1982-2008 (Requiescat In Pace).

Yep. It does not look like MS actively monitors for this. Only when there are complaints, do they take action.

So basically someone disliked her sexuality and complained about her so she would get banned. Kinda rigorous, don't you think?
