British publication NGamer are set to feature a first look at Red Steel 2, the highly-anticipated sequel to the slashy/shooty Wii launch title.

Red Steel 2 is an elusive beast; Ubisoft haven't confirmed much beyond its existence, and the fact that it's set to support the waggle-enhancing MotionPlus accessory. Beyond that, gamers are completely in the dark.

However, it looks as though Red Steel 2 is in a presentable state right now, as the "Next Month" page in Issue #34 of British Nintendo magazine NGamer promises to feature a first look at Red Steel 2 and "MotionPlus swordsmanship" in the May 2009 issue, which will hit news stands on Wednesday March 25th.

Ubisoft have slated Red Steel 2 for a Q4 2009 release, which gives you plenty of time to catch on the highly-anticipated sequel's flawed yet admirable predecessor."

im not really anticipating it after the first one..

hopefully this one turns out better than the first.

The first one was clearly rushed out the door to benefit from the hype over Wii controls.

Red Steel 2 has been in development for much longer. It could still suck but it's likely to be better.

ill still look into it, but im not like putting my hopes up or anything. if wii fans say its good, ill give it a try

first one was terrible and only sold because it was a launch game.

Well it's about time.

I loved the first one so much. I beat it almost 2 times before even touching Zelda lol. But now after playing MOHH2 Call of duty WAW and MPC3 I realized the control were not that good. But still the japanese yakuza world completly did it for me. Red Steel 2 withotion plus, Count me in!

THe first was really fun this should be good.
