couldn't stand friends after season 1. For me Coupling was the show friends wanted to be.
Personally I abhor Seinfeld. I kinda like Friends, except when they're all emo and hugging each other and stuff.

I like Friends!
I dont mind Seinfeld. I just found it hard to sit through either show sometimes. There were more episodes I found harder to sit through in Seinfeld than Friends.
Seinfeld was way better. It always focused on being funny. Even though it got a bit too silly later on, it was always at least kind of funny.
Friends was tolerable very early on, but never all that funny. Later on, the characters all became moronic caricatures, and the show forgot to be funny at least half the time.
