I am pretty curious to see how this performs. It looks like a great game, so I hope it makes up for its Japanese sales.

We had two bags of grass, seventy-five pellets of mescaline, five sheets of high-powered blotter acid, a salt shaker half full of cocaine, a whole galaxy of multi-colored uppers, downers, screamers, laughers…Also a quart of tequila, a quart of rum, a case of beer, a pint of raw ether and two dozen amyls.  The only thing that really worried me was the ether.  There is nothing in the world more helpless and irresponsible and depraved than a man in the depths of an ether binge. –Raoul Duke

It is hard to shed anything but crocodile tears over White House speechwriter Patrick Buchanan's tragic analysis of the Nixon debacle. "It's like Sisyphus," he said. "We rolled the rock all the way up the mountain...and it rolled right back down on us...."  Neither Sisyphus nor the commander of the Light Brigade nor Pat Buchanan had the time or any real inclination to question what they were doing...a martyr, to the bitter end, to a "flawed" cause and a narrow, atavistic concept of conservative politics that has done more damage to itself and the country in less than six years than its liberal enemies could have done in two or three decades. -Hunter S. Thompson

Of course I wasn't expecting this to be a 1st tier title in terms of sales, but it would be nice if it had a moderate worldwide success (150-200k), enough so that konami wouldn't consider it a complete failure, and let the team continue to make interesting games...

I absolutely agree.  When a 3rd party title bombs it's always a slap in the face unless it was just a crap game.  From what I have seen, read, investigated, etc., it looks to be a pretty well made title so the "crap" theory doesn't apply.  It's a new IP and they should probably have spent more time trying to get the word out.

I hate trolls.

Systems I currently own:  360, PS3, Wii, DS Lite (2)
Systems I've owned: PS2, PS1, Dreamcast, Saturn, 3DO, Genesis, Gamecube, N64, SNES, NES, GBA, GB, C64, Amiga, Atari 2600 and 5200, Sega Game Gear, Vectrex, Intellivision, Pong.  Yes, Pong.

Just thinking about it a little, this game would be a hard one to advertise. I love the style to death but it's hard to get the point across that this cutesy art style doesn't mean it's a cutesy game but actually a hard puzzle game that has loads of replay value.

let's try and keep this going. Hopefully more people will watch the link, and be encouraged to go out and buy the game.

Here's to the hopefull success of Dewy's Adventure and developers bringing more creative IPs to the wii and to gaming for that matter.

This game kinda looks like Super Monkey Balls.

it really does look like a great game, but with the huge amount of games coming out for the rest of the year, I don't see myself putting $100 into purchasing this game right now.

maybe next year

That looks simply incredible. I mean, there is an editor too! I really can't figure out why this game flopped so hard in japan

.

Delayed? IGN's release date calendar now how this game for sept 25th. Wonder if they are trying to avoid a Metroid shadow.

My very first created video is up! Not the best quality, will try to use a different format for putting it on my space, but at least you have a bit of an impression :D I'm the actual gamer in the video :D
