The hype started to decrease when all those gameplay trailers came out last fall. It didn't look very impressive.

And after the demo was released the internet hype has died almost completely. I'm afraid Capcom were unable to utilize the great African Voodoo setting to create a frightening horror atmosphere.

Are you mad? loll seriouesly tho i played the RE5 demo countless times and had no problem controlling. Then i was like in my head "Man the controls are just like RE4" ..so i went back and played RE4...and dam its still so much harder to aim XD.

RE5 was huge because RE4 was huge, but there have been a ton of huge graphic games released since RE5 was first announced, so the anticipation has died down quite a bit.

the demo on the ps3 was fun but the controls killed it for me.

I was looking forward to the game until I played the demo. There's not a chance in hell I'm going to buy the game anymore.

But the game will sell, it's still a big, hyped AAA game.

I'll take the bet disolitude. I say it's impossible for RE5 to sell GC/PS2 RE4. Even though I didn't like that version either, this is worse.

controls/gameplay on the demo were pretty poor, ill wait to see how it does in sales and how its recieved on here before deciding whether or not to buy it
