*honorable mention: Sony Marketing

1. PS3 - Seriously, how do you screw up having such a popular brand name that badly? Sony did to the Playstation brand what George Bush Jr did to America.

2. Wii Friend Codes. Nintendo, if you're not catering to kids, then stop treating your customers like them.

3. Fanboys. The virus of fanboyism still has yet to die. We need robots to kill them off.

You guys are disappointed over stupid stuff, lol.

Sony's marketing? Who cares?!

For me:

1.)Super Mario Galaxy
2.)New! Super Mario Bros.
3.)The Gundam game that the PS3 first launched with.

1. Ninja Gaiden II - The follow up to my favorite game of the previous generation that I found to be extremely boring.
2. Perfect Dark Zero - Bought a 360 at launch after reading Gamespots glowing review. Regreted my purchase until Oblivian (then was pretty happy!)
3. Twilight Princess - Couldn't even finish it.

Bolded part isn't possible...unless your tastes changed. NG2 is a better version of NG1...

What, so you just think I made it up?  Pretty sure its possible, because, in my opinion, it was completely disappointing.  I even replayed the first as Sigma and still loved it, but NG2 was just so...mediocre.  You say NG2 is a better version of NG1, I say NG2 is a watered down version of NG1.

Ninja Gaiden 2 doesn't have near as good puzzles or platforming as NG1 did. Other then that, it does everything better. And calm down. Disolitude isn't trying to bite you.

First off...when wasn't I calm? I said I was disappointed in the game, he said thats impossible, I said, well, I WAS, so I guess it is possible. I don't recall being at the edge of a cliff threatening to jump at any point in that conversation. Secondly, as I said...I LOVED Ninja Gaiden. It got be back into gaming, in all honesty. I hadn't played anything other than "Madden" for about 4 years. Then I bought an XBOX and NG, and ever since I can't quit buying games.

Then I bought NG2, and I was disappointed and bored.  I'm sorry, but I was.  I'm glad you found almost everything better about it, but isn't this thread about opinion?  About what each person was disappointed in?  I don't see how there can be a wrong answer, but you two seem to be telling me I'm wrong.

Care to list what was worse? I am not saying that it isn't possible for you to like the game less then the first one...because your tastes may have changed since. Happens to me all the time. I used to enjoy Zelda games more then any other games around... but Zelda TP couldn't even play for more than 5 hours...I am just not in to those games anymore, but I do not think Zelda TP is terrible compared to previous zelda games.

All I am saying is that NG2 did pretty much everything better than part 1. Combat was better and more hectic, visuals were better, sound was better...game was longer, had less backtracking. The whole replenishing of health between fights was awesome...

You could argue that boss fights were worse in part 2 compared to part 1... and story and camera angles sucked but those sucked in part 1 as well.

In all honesty I dont really know...it may have been a change in taste.  All I know is that I got to the level where you start out in a huge underground lake and you have to climb the pillars around you to get out, and was just like "Why am I still playing this?  I've been bored with it for the last 3 levels."  I think I just got tired of endless enemies with little variety.  I know the same could be said about the first one, though, and there's a lot of games I LIKE that are like that, but for some reason, I just couldn't take it anymore.  I went back to it about 3 months later and finished that level, but was still bored too death.  Maybe I just expected a revolution like the first one was (for me), and, in all honesty, that's not fair to expect.  I think since, too, that I've started liking games that have better stories.  I'll admit that the combat in the game (as well as the first) is some of the best in games, but the stories are just so bad.  They really don't make any sense at all, so if you're bored with the gameplay, there's nothing pushing you forward.  I'm glad you guys liked it though, I'm all for people enjoying their games...but for some reason for me, I was just immensely disappointed.

Oh, and no Rachel.  :)
