All fanboys are equally annoying, but I think that the PS3 fanboys are by far the most sensitive.  Every week it seems like we have a new thread whining about PS3 hate, but you don't see the same threads being made for the 360 or the Wii.  Also, considering the 360 is the least represented around here it probably receives a disproportionately large share of bashing.

I edited my post above to respond to that. You can't say, for a fact, that the PS3's lineup will always be worse because in 2008 you can objectively argue that it was better based on review scores. Reviews themselves are subjective, but the aggregate sites are the best objective measure of a game's quality. If you look at 85% and above reviews, the PS3 had the most in 2008.

There's a reason for that...the PS3 is attacked more.  Look at the anti-KZ2 threads alone.

Well doesn't that say something? Maybe they can take bad news and criticism better. If you look at the 20fps, civil discussion died after 1 page.

I posted both of those threads BTW ~_n

I don't think it says too much as the 20 fps thread is littered with 360 fans screaming how unacceptable it is for a shooter to go down to 20 fps blah, blah blah. Don't think it was unacceptable with Gears 2 though. Personally, Gears 2 is one of my favorite games this gen and Killzone 2 is looking to be right up there with it.

I'm sorry.  Why is the cut-off 85%?

The Xbox 360 had 8 "AAA" or "90%+" games in 2008 versus the PS3's 6.

Do you really want to make the argument about this?

Out of 8 KZ2 threads on the front page of the Sony forum at the time of this writing only 1 had even a remotely negative title, and that was the 20fps report that pbroy posted, that had an external source.  I think you're just selectively seeing what you want to see.  The PS3 is not attacked more than any other console, and not every negative comment is an "attack"  sometimes people have (gasp) differing opinions and may not like what you like.  Get used to it.  Get over it.

I already said that if you changed the cut-off the winner changes.  You're not paying attention.

The point is that the PS3 arguably had the best lineup last year, so that makes it even more absurd of an attack to say that the PS3 will inevitably have an inferior lineup of games...which, again, is exactly what you said.

Did you know I got famous for that Star Ocean thread? Anyways... If you haven't noticed in the 20fps thread, the people that ended up arguing with eachother in the end are PS3 owners. Maxwell has a PS3, Squilliam is in it for the lulz. windbane is about to pop a blood vessel. n_n
