To be fair, it wasn't merely, "U DONT LIEK HALO WARZ??? FACK U!!!" He said quite specifically why he feels that they didn't understand the game.

Given that it's Gamespot, it's pretty plausible that they didn't understand. They have some of the most random reviews I've ever seen in my life.


If gamestop had given it 9/10 he wouldn't have complained about them being unreliable. And even if we were to state why we think people don't understand Killzone , according to Madskillz We are not rooted by reality and are blinded by our fanboy ways.

Yeah, he's one of those that I don't understand why they have ps3s. i've never seen madskillz post anything pro-ps3. I wonder why he got one. I had an xbox and loved it. If I didn't think I'd like the console, I won't have purchased it. The most annoying case scenario is when x person thinks their possession of the console is a license to post gibberish.

 

 

Perhaps he finds enough enjoyment/use out of it to warrant the purchase, and thinks that it's future potential will offer him more than he gets from selling it?

 

I doubt he purchased it for enjoyment, it seems more like he felt he was obligated.

4. Lastly, the PS3 plays Blu Rays beautifully, but if you have a vast DVD collection, it WILL NOT upconvert your titles over component cables. Big bummer. You can watch the titles over HDMI upconverted, but not over component.

Does 360 upscale DVDs without HDMI? Last time I checked, no upscaling DVD players, etc... did so without the use of HDMI cables, so I found that to a pretty weak con in my opinion.

I have never tried upscaling with my 360 so maybe I am wrong.

Here you go...I think KZ2 is average at best and I think that Halo Wars is very subpar. PC fanboy confirmed?

 Agreed. He's hardly intermidiate though. He's very much pro 360 and that's the same kind of thing ps3 fans get attacked for. What did 360 fans say when PS3 fans used excuses like that for the 70 Edge review? Just like he gave his reasons, Gamespot gave theirs and he suggested that they "just don't get it", but they honestly just had a differnt opinion then his on the game. Why does that equate to "not getting it"?

Well, because he pointed out that he finds their complaints with the game to be founded on error. He didn't just disagree with their opinion on how good the game was; he felt they missed the point entirely.

Well, because he pointed out that he finds their complaints with the game to be founded on error. He didn't just disagree with their opinion on how good the game was; he felt they missed the point entirely.

Gamespot gave reasonable reasons for their complaints. They said the game was simplified and lacked depth and suffered as an RTS because of it. They also complained about other limitations, such as only playing one side during the campeign and the exclusion of the flood. So, it has only two classes and is simplified. How are those not reasonable arguments? He doesn't even argue that, he said that it was designed that way and that they missed the point. Sure, it was designed that way, but the reviewer (and others) cosidered this design decision a huge flaw. I personally agreed with Gamespot's review although I probably disagree with the number assigned to the review. It seems more like a 7.5 to me, but then again, I've only played the demo and not the final version. Either way, I said I agreed that the others are blowing that quote out of proportion. It still remains that he believes it's ok to think Killzone 2 is "meh" but there is something wrong with you and your a fanboy if you actually liked the game, which just makes his other quote stand out more.
