Online gaming more popular than ever.
a very high percentage of people own pc's or laptops hence defending your console is only a keyboard and a click away.
360 fans are becoming more visable simply because the fan base is getting bigger and bigger.
So its obvious your gonna notice more pro 360/anti ps3 threads.
They are HD consoles in direct competition.
Theres always tonnes of ps3 threads.
So maybe 360 fans think ps3 fans have become worse than ever on this site too.
you know "best games coming to ps3 2009"
psn is better than xbl
killzone 2 thread 327,934

Now imagine this post made by a poster with a Helghast roses avatar and a pro-Sony sig.
And you said you would be more careful with bets...
OT: Oh god, yes. It appears the different fanboys are worse in different areas.
Sony fanboys: They (we) hype things ridiculously, but that's not a bad thing. What is a bad thing is that they don't think anybody is allowed to genuinely dislike a hyped game. It's hard to comprehend when you enjoy some games that other people can't.
Now, I do get annoyed at the "Zomg KZ2 is worse than Haze!" posts that are clearly made by people who don't own a PS3, and have never played Killzone 2, nor do they intend to (that or somebody who just stepped out of a time machine from 2005).
But when somebody gives a genuine reason for disliking the game (and no, 4 frames of command lag is not a genuine reason), a lot of people get up in arms about it. Xbox fanboys are a lot better in this sense. They accept people disliking their games (I could make another comment here, but it could get me banned, so no).
Microsoft fanboys: They insist on tearing down every PS3 exclusive in existence. Whether it's Tools of Destruction, Resistance 2 and Uncharted which are "not AAA", MGS4 which is a movie, LBP which is a kiddy, casual level toolset which happens to have just won the most prestigious annual gaming award in existence and has a higher metascore than the almighty Gears of War games, and now Killzone 2. Killzone 2 is more difficult, because it cannot be dismissed so easily, due to the fact that it has been compared to Halo and Gears. Insulting the core idea would be insulting their own games, so instead they must nitpick on every small issue: 0.137 seconds of command lag (I bet you Halo 3 has at least that much), frame rate drops to 20 fps (like Gears) or "huge dead zones" etc. etc. etc.
Menawhile, the Nintendo fanboys sit, laugh, and go back to discussing who is hotter, Mario or Link, and the like
