Asch wasn´t bad, but he was still typical "I´m so badass" char. Most of the games have such chars.

If I should make a ladder for char, he would be probably on 3rd spot. 1st is od course Colonel, 2nd Sync and Asch 3rd

But Asch was not trying to act badass at all.If you understand his backstory you would understand why he acts like he does.He was not your typical character, but I respect your opinion though I don't understand it.

If you had a bunch of crappy food in front of you that you hated and someone asked you to pick a favorite you would just pick the best of the group.  Your disdain for the group as a while doesn't make it impossible to pick a favorite.
