May I ask why? I am not harrassing you to do so, just curious because I seem to have heard a reasonable number of forum go-ers saying similar things ("it's not for me" kind of thing) many being base around not liking bugs/insects. and I didn't realise there was such an aversion to insects, especially given they are only digital, not actually crawling on you.

I think it is odd given that so many gamers are fine with blood in games, even though in real life they wouldn't want blood everywhere, yet it doesn't work for insects?

 

 

 

i dont care for my wii too much and since i was recently ffired i cant afford alot of the games that i was orignally going to get(basically all the games i was going to get for my wii)

Its pretty darn difficult ive been playing on normal mode,, on the seventh chapter right now



Support good third party games on wii. Buy games like house of the dead overkill, de blob, madworld, the conduit and boom blox.

Im playing in NORMAL and im on the 6th chapter. I like the game, its fun, reminds me of Galaxy without all the genious.

Lol, dude...why would you start on Easy mode? That's for teh casualz. Normal difficulty isn't that much more different than easy. I'd say never play the lowest difficulty unless you aren't good at games or you're new to games or the game is inherently difficult (DC is not).

I'm doing Deadly as well and I died quite a few times on the second chapter. The Wolf spiders are much tougher now and can actually kill me if I don't act quickly. Even the soldier beetles can kick my bug butt...I never thought they were a serious threat.

I usually start on the lowest, and work my way up.... but most games I buy don't really have difficulty settings, or else for things like F-Zero force you to work your way through as only the easiest is available at first.

And since I have played some more.... Chapter 2 didn't really seem that that bad.... And I still find the soldier beatles easy (black ones) but it's the white scarab beatles that until I got the spiders spin attack, had an impenetrable defence... I was forced to just jump around until one of them attacked me, then jump out of the way and retaliate, but with only a single strike as the wing case defence went up again after.

I can't remember how many deaths per chapter I encountered on easy mode, but it was roughly 15 in total.

So far on Deadly I have had:

12 deaths in chapter 1

2 deaths in chapter 2

9 in chapter 3 (the spider isn't as good a fighter as the scorpion it seems... 4 of them were from falling to my doom against the 6 spiders that run at you up a vertical cliff, so if you get hit you fall what appears to be sideways)

8 on chapter 4 (the pair of lizards got me 4 times, and the spider in the tree trunk with the acid throwing beetles behind it 3 times... and the wasps the other time)

15 ish on chapter 5 (lots of lightning fast red-tailed lizards... and a black scorpion got me once too... as well as the wasps
