I dislike the visuals so far. I wish the game would at least try to look good.

| Soriku said: I don't think they're former. For example, the scenario writer for ToS and ToS: DotNW (and Abyss) is doing the scenario for this game and DotNW and this game were in development at the same time. So I think they were working on both Tales games and ARF as well. |
Hmm, well that makes me think that they aren't employed by Namco Bandai at all.

Didn't you say the game looks good like a day or two ago lol? Also, you're like the only one in this thread who dislikes the graphics :P This is imageepoch's first console game and I think it looks pretty good graphically (you like ToS: DotNW right? You shouldn't have a problem with this) so you have to give them a break.
Maybe... :3 But they seem to most of their work for them. Kinda like Sakuraba I think. |
Well, they certainly don't push the Wii, so I think it's a valid complaint.
And I think the comparison of the Grand Composer (Uematsu) is very fitting as he is just a hired man these days.
| Soriku said: What is Uematsu even doing now? I wish he'd go back to doing FF music. |
I wouldn't be surprised if he is doing FF 13 or Versus 13. However, even if he doesn't the music sounds good so far.
Go to the Japanese site and have a listen.
@Soriku:
The game does look, and I'm buying it the first day it comes out. The graphics are fine technicaly. What I don't like is the art style and the way some of the characters look. It looks out of place. Kinda like Star Ocean 4.

Uematsu is doing FFXIII along with Masashi Hamauzu. FF Versus XIII is being done by Yoko Shimomura.
| Soriku said: FF 13 is being made by the FF X composer. FF 13 is being made by Yoko Shimomura. Yeah, the music is good, but I don't think anything in the games will compare to Uematsu... |
Nobou Uematsu is the FF X composer.......

The art style doesn't look out of place in either ARF or SO4.

lol, I know, but there was someone else. |
FFX had 3 composers, in total: Nobuo Uematsu (the series regular), Masashi Hamauzu (a relative newcomer who didn't really get any solo composing work until Chocobo's Mysterious Dungeon), and Junya Nakano (a bit of a long-timer in the industry, but also not the sole composer for most of the games he worked on).
Sky Render - Sanity is for the weak.

| Soriku said: I did a search on GameFAQs and Hamauzu is the composer and Uematsu is just the main theme. |
I did some digging on Wiki and they are both composers like they were on FFX.
@ Sky Render
Yeah, I just usually refer to the main composer as the composer even if a few others helped along.
