Looks good. Hopefully this and Phantom Brave sell well enough to make other developers take some chances with the Wii.

I never played a Tales game.  All I know is that people generally consider ToS's story generic and poorly paced.  TotA's story is considered to be suprising complex and deep and ToV's story is generally considered nothing groundbreaking but well-told overall.  Besides, ARF's premise is clearly ripped out of the Generic RPG Stories encyclopedia.

Woohoo. Turn based rpg for Wii. Been waiting for this since I first heard about it. Looks good so far. Looking forward to it :)

Tales stories are good. And this game's story will be good too.

That is what I heard of other people concerning the stories in the series.  If you are so sure that the stories in Tales are good, then you should play other JRPGs.  I can garentee you that there are atleast a few JRPG stories you would like more than anything in Tales.

This is looking great, save for some charcter designs (some are downright atrocious!). As I said before, sign me up for this.

Which are atrocious? D: I think the worst one is the dude with gray hair, but not even he's bad.

 

I think my least favourite is the girl with the pink hair.

 

Edit: After watching it over, I agree with Xen  Some are pretty freaking ugly.

Go right ahead.  But you aren't changing any preset opinions I have.

 

The character designs don't have the universal appeal that Kosuke Fujishima's work on Tales does.
