**WARNING DEMO SPOILERS**

The demo contains a naval and a land battle. And two tutorials but I'm not going to play those. You can only play with low or medium graphics (or it could be my pc that doesn't allow it lol). I lost the land battle because I didn't have much patience and was shot at with multiple cannons. The naval battle is a great addition and I won that one. The wrecks stay on the sea for some time after sinking completely. The new menus and loading screen look nice. I'll play it again tomorow if I can.

Excellent, I am at about 99% downloaded, do you get to look at the campaign map?

Sounds good. My biggest concern has always been the AI in the campaign. CA promised a new, improved AI built from scratch. Hopefully it will alleviate that weird aggressiveness on the AI's part that's always forced me to conquer the entire world.

Doesn't seem to work for me. Sometimes I just want to chill for a while and play around with upgrading my cities, but other nations will always insist on war even if they're way weaker. Nothing is worse than having a long time ally betray you by blockading your port... with one ship. And you can rarely get a ceasefire out of anybody unless you drive them to the brink of extinction. Even then, sometimes...

Yeah, I try to have those calm periods, with no success.

Anyway, it won't run. I downloaded it, and then it said that it was ready to run. Is there no install that you have to run? Because it will start but then it wont get beyond the first screen with the trademark stuff... any one know how to get it to start properly?

I'll try to DL it.. Hope I can have battles with over 24 soldiers per army..

Also, Is there any naval combat I really, really want to try that!

There is naval combat, but it keeps on crashing!!! This is so annoying, it takes about 10 minutes to load, nothing works properly
