Forums - Gaming - Its so sad when games like these sell.

Do you honestly think a little girl would be happy playing an RPG marketed towards teen male nerds?

edit: nevermind, this is a joke account :)

PC + Wii owners unite.  Our last-gen dying platforms have access to nearly every 90+ rated game this gen.  Building a PC that visually outperforms PS360 is cheap and easy.    Oct 7th 2010 predictions (made Dec 17th '08)

Ok, all jokes aside I'm going to give you some advice that may help you have an enjoyable time here on VGChartz, feel free to take said advice or ignore it, I care not.

1) Your gaming tastes are not the final word on quality - games that you love will be held in low esteem by others, and also games that you hate will be enjoyed by many, both at VGChartz and elsewhere

2) Do not judge a game until you have played it, or at least studied a wide variety of sources including reading an in depth review, and talking to a few members of the game's target audience

3) Wii Sports is an extremely popular game, and while no-one cares if you like it or not, it could be considered rude to say that someone is not gamer because they like Wii Sports

Anyway, welcome to the site

You should try a new hobby. Maybe collecting Ferrari's is more for you. There are only very few 12 year old girls buying Ferrari's, so no you won't have any complaints.

Benga, derailing this thread....are there many Ferraris in the Netherlands?

imagine babyz? there sure is a lot pedophile ds owners.

Quite some. Obviously it's not a regular car or anything near it, but rich people definitely prefer European sportscars over American ones here. Porsche is also pretty popular.

Don´t know if you´re familiar with sportscars, but would you happen to know if most Ferraris you see are the F430?...F360?...F355?

While I wish a game like Valkyria Chronicles sold better, it's really not the fault of games like this. Different genre's, system and more importantly audience.

The only teeth strong enough to eat other teeth.

Maybe we know why Ubisoft has managed to make money.

-- It found an under-represented market-niche.
-- It exploited the heck out of it.

Personal disdain does not make it wrong -- or right.

I have much more of a problem with poorly-done games than I do with games that are fairly well done but not targeted toward me/something which I like. That approach prevents me from being over-critical over morally objectionable games like those of the Grand Theft Auto series or No More Heroes.

Mike from Morgantown

Note -- Just because I consider a game morally objectionable, does not mean that I won't play it. I love NMH. 8*>

I am Mario.

I like to jump around, and would lead a fairly serene and aimless existence if it weren't for my friends always getting into trouble. I love to help out, even when it puts me at risk. I seem to make friends with people who just can't stay out of trouble.
