played it

PRETTY AWESOME
understood the convos. GREAT GRAHPICS.....nice gameplay.....pretty cool....voice acting is great.(japanese standards) i havent seen any guns. but there are weapons that you have....like nunchucks and a pole.....by pressing O you can access a crazy combo with it oh and you also have brass knuckles....my japanese isnt that good so im still tryin to figure some stuff

ME WANT NOW!!

I was looking for the demo the other day for GT5 Prologue and it's not there. I'm not trying to defend the other guy, I just noticed it's missing and I wanted to try it out. Is it on the Euro store?

those of you thinking its like GTA....from the demo it seems nothing like GTA...the open world isn't "open".....you can't go down alleyways or anything.

there is one part int he demo where I think you are meant to be flirting witha girl....but as I dint understand japanese it was impossible to know what I was saying.

the fighting aspect is like any beat em up.

you have a light attack (square) & a heavy one (triangle).....circle is to do a special choke move.

The demo doesn't have guns in it.

Graphics -- 10/10

Combat -- 6/10

Open World Aspect -- 2/10

I've never played a Yakuza before so these things may be normal....

From someone who has played all 3 of the Yakuza games (1, 2 and Kenzan) it plays the same as them. However there is a big amount of advertisements and mini games in this one. The demo takes place in Shinjuku's Red light district full of Male Hosts and lady bars. Its almost a spitting image of Shinjuku. If you go into the Seven Eleven stores you can look at all the magazines which are actual copies of the magazines in real life though a few months old haha.

As for the part in the lady bar your not flirting with the girl per say. This is just a typical thing that happens in all Japanese Lady bars in Japan. What you do is pay a girl for company. She chats with you and makes you feel good about yourself (in a non-sexual way) while you have to buy drinks and food (expensive ones) in order to make her happy as well as a nice chat with her. The way lady bars work in Japan is whatever you purchase (drinks, food) the money goes not to the bar but to the girl so you guessed it. If you buy expensive stuff she is happy cause the money goes into her pockets.

There is karaoke which is done real well and the arcades are pretty good. Play the Sega UFO catcher game. Get the tedy bear and give it to the girl in the lady club for some bonus points ;).

Ill be picking this up on the 26th.. Shame Killzone 2 comes out the same day for me so it will have to sit in the room for awhile before it gets a play. haha.

i may not be into this type of game but i know it will bring me joy wen this is released

that will sure bump up sales

 

 

Why would a bundle of a year old game bump sales?

It's on the Japanese store.

We know don't if it'll be released on PSN. As it is going to released on PSN, at the moment, I'll stick my statement that all demos are free to download. (Besides you aren't paying for the demo, but the special edition movie which has tons of bonuses and the demo is one of them)

what are you talking about ? yakuza kenzan was a spinoff. This is the third game in the main series, this one coming out in a few days.
