Why are the cool things Japan exclusive? Would it be that hard to bring these things overseas?

Wow, Kotaku is just now writing about this? They were available in Japan last year. I'm pretty sure I've had mine for almost a year. If I remember correctly, it was a special gift for 2008 "platinum" club members (members that have accumulated a certain amount of points within one year). The special prize for 2009 platinum members is a gold Mario Kart wheel. I'll be getting that one in the mail by no later than mid-March, so yeah I've probably had the SNES controller for almost exactly a year.

It's nice, but I almost never use it. That's probably because I never owned an SNES and therefore have no special attachment to that controller. Plus, I really like the Classic Controller.

Why is it all in english?
