Aww for crying out loud, i figured everyone would have already guessed by this point that law is a tool freely used by the powerful to achieve their goals.

Going into the middle east was about getting access to oil. Enforcing the law was only a cheap excuse to do so.

Remember this well, justice is achievable only as far as it doesn't get in the way of this worlds most important people and countries.

Yeah... man ever since the US invaded Iraq gas prices have been cheap.

What's the point for fighting for rights when you aren't willing to protect them when they actually matter?

Its like me offering you a job and then taking it away when the economy is bad.

Says the person who likes Lincoln....

I am the law

OT the only people that the law applies to are those that are not the big dog in the yard

Here we go again. Jesus, if you want to live in a country that waves the white flag and gives liberties to these jihadi assholes then have at it. We do what is necessary for the protection of all citizens whether we are liked at first is a futile matter. Also, the Geneva authors could not see stateless wars when the drafts we written.

@ Kasz: The Marines secured Basra and the pipelines 1st b/c of the threat from economic terrorism and potential worldwide financial fallout. Infrastructure must be maintained while proceeding with primary objectives if at all possible.

"Geneva authors could not see stateless wars when the drafts we written"

that is bull there has been war and "stateless" was always out there

it like people that seem to think terrorism only started when the planes flew into our towers....geez

Yeah... the truth is... terrorists just have no rights under the Genvea convetion.

The Geneva Convention wasn't meant to be a great overarching civil rights bill.

It was simply supposed to be the rules of war when countries were engaged in it.

Since then people have tried to make it what it's not.

I think you miss my point.

My point is that gas is much much more expensive... when if we invaded Iraq for oil... gas should be like... a buck a galon or some crap.
