5hrs in and your in 600ad and haven't saved Marle?

Yeah,

I don't even like this game so far, I just want something to play until one of the good RPG's become availible (Star Ocean 4 Dragon Quest 5 re-stock).

I feel sad for you.

And regarding the part you're at, you remember how a guy walked into the pub and told you he'd give you information about the princess in exchange for a dink? His name was Toma. He told you that he had seen her near the cathedral, but when he learned that the princess had been found, he got confused (cause that wasn't actualy the princess from that time, it was Marle).

Well, the original princess was supposed to be rescued (as Lucca probably just explained to you), but when they found Marle wondering on the mountains, they gave up on the search, thinking that they had found her. But the pickle is that Marle was a descendent of the original princess, and if she's not rescued (the princess from 600ad, I mean), Marle ceases to exist.

Oh my God I need to stop talking about that game or I'm going to want to play it again!

HOW COULD ANYONE NOT LOVE THAT GAME!?

Quem disse que a boca é tua?

Qual é, Dadinho...?

Dadinho é o caralho! Meu nome agora é Zé Pequeno!

I got a bit further and now I like it.

These characters are kind of interesting. I can't wait to find out more about them.

And you're just getting started, dude...Trust me, it gets even better.

Except for Marle. I always hated her.

Easy game. I play it on the super nes.

There's a hard JRPG for you. It's actually designed for the purpose of making JRPG fans break down, whereas Chrono Trigger is probably one of the most accessible JRPGs in existence even to this day. :P

One piece of advice that will help in playing any JRPG is to try all possibilities. Usually in a well designed JRPG this can be done just by talking to everyone, but even if that doesn't solve the problem you can just try to find things you haven't done yet. Of course, I doubt you'll find such situations too often in Chrono Trigger.

maybe its not the new gamers that are casual but you supposed "hardcore" that are casuals if you are having a hard time beating games of old that were tough, versus these pussy billion of checkpoints, continues, 10 minute linear missions ect that we are seeing these days

I can't help but love 'er. Cute, smart, and deadly: what more do you want in a girl?

But I love all Chrono Trigger's characters, 'cept Marle. She rubs me wrong.

As for that fansite, this is my personal favorite one.
