from the fact there are so many 6 o & post count forum goes all over the internet (it is proably the same guy) who spam thread with omg this is going to be a system seller, its going to be huge, its going to deliever my baby and make him the next Mozzart of video games

and it doesnt help that every bit of sony pr is driping with teh same stuff

i mean its a easy jab to take at a annoying fanbase (not sony fans in general...just the blind sheep of the species)

Well I don't know what they see then. Only thing they should be seeing is a final installment to a very fine series of games. Nothing more.

I also seem to have missed the PR portion. If possible could you send me a link to the PR statements where they praised GoW3 in this way?

That is foolish then. When someone goes and picks up a PS3 they should realize that for the most part you are picking it up for its first party offering. Well, that is why I picked one up anyways.

3rd place so far is turning out to be the best thing that has happened to Sony fans, now Sony is working even harder on providing top quality 1st party titles. *My opinion of course*

If 3rd place is always like this (game wise) then I would love 3rd place every generation. Well, I would like some JRPGs.

There is in my opinion no reason why they should feel the need to justify their purchase, that is done the day the paid for it. This gen though seems to be everyone hating what others have without looking and realizing that just about everyone has a high quality gaming library with games worth getting excited for.

I think you're quite right in some of what you're saying here, the N64 and the Gamecube were far from being number one in hardware sales but are still fantastic consoles! If being in last place means being bad then... well, that's just silly. I know I certainly enjoyed the N64 (Mario, Zelda, Turok, Goldeneye, Perfect Dark, the Rush games etc), glorious!

ah stop whining about it already. Most people like the controls. Not all shooters have to control identical. It's a good thing that we can have some variation. I didn't notice the delay when playing at all. It felt like the game was suited for the gameplay and vice versa.
