Those of you that say Edison haven't done much research on the two, Tesla was clearly much smarter and a much better inventor.

Bill Gates is the most brilliant programmer who ever lived... aw shit, you got me.

 

Edison and Gates are in competition for most successful evil lying thief businessman, but Tesla was a better inventor than either.  If Tesla was alive today, we'd have cars that run on sadness and spit out happiness and ozone.

Tesla was, hands down, the better inventor. The man was a genious far ahead of his times. Check out the Mythbuster's episode where they "prove" Tesla didn't have an earthquake machine by shaking a steel bridge a hundred feet in any direction. If he wasn't so insane or ambitious he might have been the one everbody remembers.

Edison is more known, Edison also invented alot more "Usefull" things, so i choose Edison.
