Tesla was, hands down, the better inventor. The man was a genious far ahead of his times. Check out the Mythbuster's episode where they "prove" Tesla didn't have an earthquake machine by shaking a steel bridge a hundred feet in any direction. If he wasn't so insane or ambitious he might have been the one everbody remembers.
