Forums - Nintendo - Capcom still trying to bring Capcom Vs. Tatsunoko to North America

Why?

I mean...

Why?

Sure it'd be a fun game. I'd prolly get it... but how many people would?

How many Tatsunkoko fans are there in the US?

Via wikipedia, Sandy Frank Entertainment's rights to the original Gatchaman have been expired since 2007. Media Blasters still have Tekkaman in their catalogue.

That´s great but bring it to Europe as well!

The problem seems to be the fact that even though Sandy Frank's rights are expired, it doesn't seem to be clear who they revert to once they expire. It just doesn't jump back to Tatsunoko themselves apparently

Monster Hunter: pissing me off since 2010.

It must be really hard to calculate for .000000174444444E of a penny.

I'm Unamerica and you can too.

I really hope it makes it over.

Support good third party games on wii. Buy games like house of the dead overkill, de blob, madworld, the conduit and boom blox.

i do hope it comes here

But the same goes for every niche title like that. Even if it wouldn't sell that much, those who would appreciate it would buy it.

Besides...people can buy it for the Capcom characters. They're still half the game.

I guess.  It's just liscensing costs are usually huuuuuge.

Hence why the OG games are the only SRW games out in the west.

They may still buy it for the Street Fighter characters.  They may buy it cause of viewtiful joe.  Or even ppl that like Vs style games  ;)

If it's a fun game, why wouldn't ppl buy it?  BTW, is there online?

All that effort, no ones gonna buy it, Capcom will have another title to bring up when they talk about releasing titles for the Wii.
(One possible outcome and the most likely)

Unless they have Online I wont get the NA version. Just import the damn title people. Gecko OS isnt that hard to use.
