Using the data about Wii Sports on the Nintendo channel, it seems that around 7.5% of UK Wii owners use the channel and allow their gaming data to be used. (The figures suggest around 350,000 Wii Sports owners, and since Nintendo announced that there are 5 million Wii (and therefore Wii Sports) owners in the UK as of 31/12/08, this suggests the percentage given.) The data for Disaster:DOC suggests around 1,500 owners. If that number is, as with Wii Sports, only 7.5% of the actual number of players, that sugests a sales figure in the UK of around 20,000.
Obviously there is a huge margin of error with that 20,000 figure - as a more core game, it's probable that more than 7.5% of Disaster owners use the Nintendo channel, and that the figure is actually lower than 20,000. Whatever way you look at it, Nintendo's unloved baby (zero advertising other than on the Nintendo channel itself) has clearly flopped over here. A shame, too - I've just finished it and, despite a number of flaws, I found it really enjoyable. Don't understand how so many reviews gave it a sub-7 score - a solid 8 for me.
