PC gaming might not be dying at all. It may be moving to DLC.

A. Not everyone owns a credit card.

B. Not everyone is over the age of 18.

But most gamers are over 18.

Most gamers yes... But not all, what happens when people grow up having never played computer games?

They are like regular kids that usually only play computer games their parents bought them, they play at a friends house, they play they parent's games, or they play PC games at school?

I don't know man because it sounds like you are talking about a typical kids from the 80s or 90s or today.

Blu-Ray has a nice growth.. although still pretty much insignificant.. but another such growth rate this yr will make it somewhat significant.

I like how the amount of consoels raises to almost 50%. The smaller percentage-increase of ~30% is most likely due to pricecuts in the PS3 and X360 during the year over 2k7.

Hardware value and units were both up nearly 50%. I guess console sales increased significantly more than handheld sales.

Damn ya, was looking at the software sales, my bad. that is more easily explained by budget games, and what not. then in console pricing it more raises an eye that pricecuts have had little effect on the console amount-price ratio.
