"While having a video interview with Gamespot, God of War III director Stig Asmussen confirmed that his game will be playable at E3 2009. He said;

“Stay tuned, we will be releasing more information, expect something playable at E3, as well as possibly a release date.”

While no specifics were talked about, like levels or what Kratos will be doing in the demo, it is still awesome to know that some of us will be playing GoW III in June.

This is going to be a HUGE year for Sony and their E3 presentation. Not only is God of War III going to be playable at this year’s event, Sony should have a few other anticipated games at the show, including MAG and Heavy Rain. When E3 2009 is over, we think Sony should easily have best in show — if all goes right of course. However, it is not guaranteed and two other video game companies would strongly disagree.

E3 2009 runs from June 2-4, 2009"

yeah baby¡¡¡

Cool, I hope they announce a release date officially .

Awesome, can't wait for this game.

I might actually watch G4 *sigh* if they cover the demo...

nice to hear maybe we can see it come out this year also

By release date I hope they mean something more specific than a month.

If it's a specific date, than it may hit in 2009 after all. If it's just a month, expect March. It'll be just like when the announced Killzone's February date.

*Prays for 2009 release date*
