Rockstar seems more interested in being controversial then they are in making good games sometimes. At least in my opinion the series has gone down hill and I've heard a lot of people voice simular feelings about the series. At the same time, Ive noticed more "controversial" moments in the games. I think they have in their head that if they put material that is seen as being controversial and people make a stir over it more people will buy their games and they can be looked at as being the "rebels" of video games.
