Metal Gear Solid 4 by far the worst? you liked it less than 2? hmmm, that's a new one....

What are you implying? You're making it seem as if it were a fact that MGS2 is the worst in the series. To me and many others it is by far the best entry of the franchise, and it remains by far the biggest selling title in the series as well with close to 8 million sold.

This is essentially my opinion.

I was very disappointed in 4's story, especially the happy-go-lucky ending.

To each their own. I have a different opinion, that's all. I love every Metal Gear game, I have played them all multiple times, I own them all. I loved MGS2 like nothing else when I first played it (although quite taken aback by the story when I reached Solidus in Arsenal), I still loved it last time I played through it (just after finishing MGS3 4 straight times, my favourite PS2 game). I have finished every Metal Gear games from MSX to PS3 multiple times (main series), and the one I love the least is MGS2, that's just my opinion.

The best MGS was part 1.

Best = MGS1/MGS2/MGS3 & MGS4 . All Amazing.

I would probably say the first and third one are the best.

MGS3 was easily the best for story
MGS4 was easily the best for gameplay

MGS2, while not bad, was definitely the worst
