I haven't preordered a game in a long while and usually don't unless there are added bonuses to doing so. While I will be buying MadWorld when it comes out regardless of reviews I think for The Conduit I may look for reviews first.

No, they could do much worse than that. For example an unbalanced set of weapons (wouldn't be surprising since it's a developer with little experience on FPS games AFAIK), uninspired maps, a crappy single player campaign with bad AI, a laggy or unstable online experience. Just a few of the problems that a FPS game can have.

I'm not trying to put the game down in any way, what we've seen so far makes me hopeful it's a good game. However, ever since this game was announced I have had my doubts so I didn't let myself get too hyped about it.

Perhaps, but all they'd have to do to one-up all other Wii FPS currently available is have good graphics and a diverse multiplayer.  Not that that, of course, makes it good, but I'm desperate.

But yes, caution is probably a better path for this.

I don't usually pre-order games (in case some bad reviews come out later) but in this case I may pre-order it just to guarantee I get a copy.

I'm planning on it yes. Preordering is a great way to supprt your games I'd say.



Support good third party games on wii. Buy games like house of the dead overkill, de blob, madworld, the conduit and boom blox.
