If u came 2 dis thread because you recognized any of the names,you probably know about both of these anime even if you've only watched 1.Let's face it,once Yugi becomes Yami-Yugi,he's very similar 2 Lelouche.Their both very intelligent and heartless.Imagine if Lelouch was to go 2 d Yugioh universe and play Duel Monsters.WITHOUT HIS GEASS.Do you think he'd be better than Yugi based on just his intelligence?I think he would.

Both characters really do suck but here's how I'd imagine it going down:

Yugi:  I summon Exodia:  The Forbidden One!

Lelouche:  Holy sh*t, did you just summon a monster from a card?

Yugi:  Yes.  Exodia, obliterate!

Lelouche:  *unplugs the Kaiba YGO Duel machine's power plug*

Yugi:  F***.

I like good anime of every genre.  Both CG and YGO were enjoyable though Ledouche and Pharaoh aren't among my favorite anime protagonists.

Why couldn't they both play chess?

I'm not a big yu-gi-oh person myself and even I know that the Pharaoh is good at all games (not just the card game) and lelouche is good at chess, so it'd be an even game where both sides are on the same grounds (as opposed to the advantages individual decks of cards would have).

Still say lelouche would win, Yu-gi-oh is a piece of crap imo, even the original series (that 26 episode one that ends with Yugi beating Kaiba) wasn't that great. Yes I just judged a persons performance based on the quality of the shows they came from.
