Good to have. It may not be able to rival Sonys crown jewel, but it certainly doesnt hurt to have a similar game on a similar system at less than half the price

GT5 is an extremely expensive game, any sales they steal by heavily promoting and selling Forza 3 is a bonus to them and a slap for Sony. It may be in their best long term interest to market this game heavily and break Sony's stranglehold on the simu-arcade racing market.

If they can crack the 4M mark on sales alone it should keep the gap between Forza 3 and GT5 at between 2-4M and introduce the Forza series as a viable alternative for a lot of people.

I see fanboys have dragged GT5 into this, not the best thing to do when saying Sony fans are trolling, drag a PS3 game into the thread and live with the results. Just for the giggles I would love for Forza 3 to release day and date with GT5 just to cement the power of the GT franchise, I admit that I love it when fanboys cry.

Now Signalstar, why again was he trolling? It's great that the definition of trolling has been replaced by the truth in this thread. For a huge period of time Forza 2 was bundles with that Marvel game here in the EU and also the NA.

MS have no answer to GT, people need to stop comparing Forza to GT and enjoy Forza on its own merit.

You know that the first guy who mentioned GT5 is a PS3 fan, the 2nd a Wii fan & the 3rd is a PS3 fan ?

Signalstar was trolling, because of his words it sounds like 2.5 million units sold without bundles is not good and the game is bad.

Do you have proof the 2.5 million was without bundles?

I dont care about what fanboy was the first to bring up GT5 but I do care about is everyone else joining in and starting a forza vs GT.

GT5 doesn't even exist yet, so let them at least talk about it.

In the meanwhile, we're ramping up towards the 2nd Forza this gen. First one sold 2 millions and a half before the bundles. We'll see how the second does ;)

The question is, what are ps3 only owners doing coming to the MS forum to spam GT5 all over a Forza thread.

There are two things you don't do in a videogaming forum unless you are trolling:

a) talking about GT in a Forza thread or about Forza in a GT thread

b) saying FIFA is better on a PES thread or saying PES is better on a FIFA thread.

The guy was just downplaying the game. Because it's not on his console of choice.

as usual...everytime a topic comes out about Forza, we have these sony boys saying the obvious, we all know how great GT is and how well it sells. I'm a fan of GT 1-4 myself.

Forza had great sales by itself...and it was a good idea to bundle the game so that more people can play and see how great it is...and thats among the best.

I hope it releases this holiday, first day purchase for me....
