from last weeks interview on tv i seen it sounds like they have games coming out they haven't even let out of the bag yet.

So the shooter-crowd on the Xbox360 needs to be satisfied with:

• Halo ODST (Add-on or not, it is HALO!!!)
• Bioshock2
• Call of Duty MW2

Well that looks pretty decent.

With

• Mass Effect2
• Forza 3
• Alan Wake

there are 3 other great games. And we do not know anything about games from:

• Lionhead
• Rare

And a new formed studio is developing

• Crackdown 1.5

like I read today. So with Resident Evil 5, Star Ocean and Halo Wars already be released in the first half of 09, there are FAR more than enough games to get this year for the Xbox360. We need to stop saying that MS has no games for 09.

gears 3 has already begun...

HALO ODST, Bioshock 2, and possibly Perfect Dark 2 they will be fine.

Theres always a chance they have a third party shooter waiting in the wings somewhere or Bioshock 2 timed exclusivity. Microsoft always seems to make sure there are a couple of exclusive shooters for the holiday season.

We just had Left 4 Dead and Gears of War 2.

Next year the shooter could be,

A.) Half-Life Ep3
B.) Perfect Dark 2
C.) Bioshock 2
D.) Something completely new or innovative.

If they throw their marketing behind something, its definately going to be great!

Looking at non exclusives as well, I have a hunch that either R6V3 or GRAW3 (or both) will be out this year as well. Too many shooters, and not enought time.

Gears 3 will not be this year. I'm hoping a new Perfect Dark, done the right way

Since christmas is long ways away, 360 owners looking for an awesome FPS title now should pick up FEAR 2.

Otherwise HALo ODST is going to be huge, but I believe MS will have another tasty shooter lined up for us.
