ok i haven't played an RPG since FF12 and i just found out that eternal sonata is out i would like to get some opinions on it and can u rate it on a 1-10 scale if the game gets an 8 average i will get it ...... thanks to all that help much appreciate.

8, if you need an rpg, check it out, Demo is on PSN. I bought and finished it last month, nice rpg, not the best but certainly not the worst..

metacritic has it at 8/10 is that good enough?

7, entirely for the visuals. Gameplay, story and dialogue are totally mediocre, and at times dip lower.

If you're really starved for the kind of JRPG on the PS3, then go for it. If you'd like to try something different but great on the PS3, pick Valkyria Chronicles.

I have it for the xbox 360 and it's allright. The graphics are really good but the storyline is meh. I think the PS3 version has extras that the xbox version does not. if you can get it under 50$ id say buy it.

This game is not that bad, as long as you don't come near the ending with a 20 foot pole!

It's kind of like in BioShock, you were expecting much much more from the ending, but because of it, it screws up all the good ideas the game had before that.

Let's just say it leaves a bitter taste. I also doubt the PS3 enhancements did something good for the ending (correct me if I'm wrong).

combat gets really annoying after a while. in some places you do so many battles and every battle playes exactly the same as the one before it.

i got bored with it on the pirate ship and traded it in.
