It may not look like it now compared to other games, but at the time it was released, it was truly art in motion. IMO still is

When you look at FF10 and 12 sales it's frightening. LO is better than both those games. Not only does the game play well, but it has the best cinematics + VA in any JRPG to date. The VA in English is the first time it's been done right in a JRPG. Such a shame people wont play it because it doesnt have the words Final and Fantasy in the title. (although it has it on the box). :)

Lost Odyssey is a good game, but when it comes to the battle system, Final Fantasy 10 stomps Lost Odyssey. Lost Odyssey has a boring and dry battle system ripped straight from a PS1 RPG. Through and through, it felt like a PS1 game upgraded with nicer graphics and A LOT more cutscenes. There are plenty of reasons a person wouldn't buy the game, so saying it's just because it doesn't have "Final Fantasy" in the name is pretty lame.

It's only my opinion, but FF10 and 12 were both very mediocre. OK so 10 was alright, but seriously bad story and horrible characters. LO's battle system was actually quite deep, and one of the hardest JRPG's yet. And yes many JRPG's lose out because it doesnt have the FF name. FF is riding on the success of 6 and 7. God hopes 13 is a return to some kind of form. 9 was the last decent FF. LO deserves far more credit than it got. Yes it had it's faults, but it was damn good.

Woah, now. I love Lost Odyssey! It's my second favorite game this generation, but I have to disagree with two big points.

1. Battle System was interesting but not deep in any way. Skill links and the ring system are the only things that keep the battles from being sleep inducing.

2. The game is not hard at all. One of my complaints in the game. I didn't die once and only came close early on. If you think this is hard, then you need to play more JRPGs.

kameo also deserved much better sales as well.i think that it should have sold better then gears of war(but that is just my opinion

Okami is one of the most beautiful, amazing, and all around perfect games I have ever played. It may very well sit at #1. I believe it deserves wayyyyyyyy better sales.

No More Heroes (its only at about 0.36 million)

Fallout 3 (its such an amazing game and deserves at least Assassin's Creed type sales)
