Some intresting things of note in the UK pre-order charts at the moment, KZ2 will be a big hit here, as will Halo Wars and Street Fighter IV, Resident Evil 5 should do well, its not out till march though, so may see pre-orders increase alot before its out, please discuss the pre-order charts, im using Play and Amazon as there 2 of the UKs biggest video game retailers

I don't know the difference between 1 and 10 on either of those lists but the fact that Halo Wars is #4 and #11 on Play.com and #5 and #6 on amazon.co.uk leads me to wonder if it doesn't actually end up 1st or 2nd on both of those lists when combined.

Can somebody tell me why uk sites have the .co before them? Something I've been wondering about.

Neat. Wow a lot of the pre-orderers are going for the Limited Edition (Halo Wars).

i know, im one of them, lol, i think its the Halo brand name and the cheap price, some limited edition games cost £49.99 here, but Halo Wars is only £44.99 on play and amazon

Can I point out that on amazon there is a combined list of current releases and future releases and KZ2 has been in the top 5 for the past few weeks, it is currently number 1

oh yeah, so it is, like i said KZ2 sales in the UK will be huge, it may even shift some more PS3s

Killzone 2 on top and Street fighter 4 is doing really well too.

I have noticed over the last few months that in the Pre-order charts,  PS3 games are always on top with more pre-orders but when it comes to real sales figures the Xbox 360 outsell it by nearly 2 to 1.  Anyone else noticed this lately?.

Why you not interested in the PC pre-order SciFiboy ?  Im sure over time The Sims 3 will outsell any 360/PS3 game.

i noticed that with PS3 v 360 sales as well, i think maybe more 360 owners buy games in person from shops rather than online

as for PC games, i may well do them seperatley, VGC dosent track them either, so its harder for me to compare when the games actually release, The Sims 3, Dawn of War 2 and Empire Total War were high up on both play and amazons pre-order lists btw, so they will all sell well.
