Digital broadcasting has been available for years. it is just now becoming mandatory for all channels.People still are resisting it as if it were a bad thing. Shoot,i remember when my mom was going through her VHS-DVD transition. She refused for the longest to upgrade. When she realized thatvhs was discontinued she had to. Now that she has experienced the benefits of dvd she cant go back.
It is finally that time again in our lifetime where we move on to bigger better things.
You say there is very little difference between dvd and bluray, i say thats crap. there is a 40% increase in picture qaulity, u can see pores pustulating on peoples faces. it looks worlds better.
the truth is you just dont care for it because you are "satisfied" with dvd quality. nothing wrong with that. Yet take this into consideration. All that extra space on BD alows for more content. imagine the whole series of your favorite tvshow on1-2 discs. |
You only see a big difference in picture quality in a tv that is over 40 inches. With that said, I realize I might get a blu ray player in the future, but only after I get a bigger tv.
As for putting whole series onto 1 bd, I don't see that happening. It is only possible if they kept the picture quality at dvd otherwise it wouldn't fit. bd have to get a lot bigger before any of this is possible.
I don't hate bd or anything I just see it as an unnecessary waste of money at this point in time. I do however, appreciate your input on the subject.
