So far this week I've seen:
Resident Evil 5; 8/10 from PlayStation Official Mag UK (Begining of underwhelming RE5 reviews??)!
and now this thread claiming a 7/10 game has been hammered.
Why do people expect all the major titles to get a 9 or 10 out of 10 and are people now so narrow minded they can't see that 7 and above means it's actually a pretty good game?
Can't help but think this thread is retaliation to the "Eurogamer hammers Killzone 2" thread, that one was pretty darn popular. I have to say if you look at the review scores these days, 7/10 is an ok score at best.

agreed, it seems only sensitive fanboys find such scores a problem....

I like to think of it as the sequel to this thread, whose starter seems to have gotten a permban.
7/10 is a good score, especially for a console rts.
...not much time to post anymore, used to be awesome on here really good fond memories from VGchartz...
PSN: Skeeuk - XBL: SkeeUK - PC: Skeeuk
really miss the VGCHARTZ of 2008 - 2013...
Maybe it shows the return of objectivity to Gaming Journalism?
7/10 isn't a bad score, but you wouldn't have known that if you followed Metacritic last year

Monster Hunter: pissing me off since 2010.
Crayon Physics Deluxe did better.
and ouch for tenchu and deadly creatures as well
