Perhaps because I didn't like Aerith that much, I was like, who cares? we still got Tifa!
Also, perhaps not a big villain, more of a minor villain, but I absolutely loved Gilgamesh in FFXII.

Kefka form FF VI hands down.
Pacman taught people to run around in dark rooms munching on pills while listening to repettive techno music and for that I somewhat idolise him.
