these r day 1 sales there r few games that sale this well
how is that good?
you guys complain about wii and ds sales but yet they sell way better than this..
this is a flop..so far
hello how are you.
Yea, the PS3 and 360 are about to get hit with a bunch Japanese centric games. Its Christmas all over again.
I know its because a lot of companies fourth quarters are ending in March/April, but why always stack them up on each other??
Just ridiculous.
very bad sales for SF

"WAR is a racket. It always has been.
It is possibly the oldest, easily the most profitable, surely the most vicious. It is the only one international in scope. It is the only one in which the profits are reckoned in dollars and the losses in lives"---Maj. Gen. Smedley Butler

a few things wrong with this... First...The 360 and PS3 aren't huge in Japan. So these sales, in 1 day, are actually kind of big for them. It would be like it if a PSP game sold 100k in a week anywhere in the world besides Japan. It doesn't seem amazing, but it's pretty rare. Another rare occurance is that both the 360 and the PS3 versions are selling well. Granted it doesn't sound like they are but if both manage to hit 50k for the week, it would be kind of a big deal. So it might not be epiccallly big, but it's big enough. And just because the Wii/DS/PSP games are called flops if they hit the numbers that Street Fighter IV have hit, is because the numbers of consoles are MILLIONS over the PS3/360 in Japan. |
sorry just realized it was first day sales..
pretty good if you ask me
hello how are you.
yea tyere sales are good dawg since in Japan its in a lot of arcades tyere & tyey're day 1 sales
Nobody else is surprised that the 360 version managed 32% of the first day's sales?
It's especially odd given that multiplatform users would be more likely to favor the ps3 version because of the D-Pad.
The 360 version of DMC4 only managed ~17% of sales it's first week.

With the hardcore SF fans, it wouldn't matter much as they are all going to be using a stick anyways. (probably the Hori stick)
