I been a fan of P&P rpgs for quite some time. I don't play like i used to but when i get the chance I'll hop in a game of D&D. I used to play D&D, Werewolf: The Apocalypse. Rifts. Vampire: The Masquerade, and Heroes Unlimited. We have a game store called Illusions round here and pretty much you can go in and play card games, rpgs, buy comics, all those kinds of things. I used to go in every Tuesday and Thursday and have my box of magic cards, my D&D books, and my bag o dice and game there from after school till closing. I also used to set up games of Hero Quest. Any one else here much into Pen & Paper Rpgs?

I used to really like playing TMNT and other strangeness when I was in Middle School, then I went on to SW 2nd then 3rd edition. I was still playing 2 years ago, now I am 25 my job and school keep me too busy, as well as most of my old group. Now we only see each other over meals or at my brother's monthly Wii party.

When I finish school I will definitely get back into it.

Hell yeah: D&D, Call of Cthuhlu, Paranoia, and Board Games [NOT Monopoly et al, but REAL boardgames, by companies like Avalon Hill, Fantasy Flight, Days of Wonder, etc. Check out www.boardgamegeek.com for some serious info.]

Thats one game I used to play as well TMNT. I sometimes bring it up and folks think its kinda funny but it was a pretty cool game. Based on the turtles when they were in a comic book insted of the cartoon and when April O'neal was black.

I remember for a while i was into Warhammer 40k and Illusions has a set up for it. Its this jungle area with broken down buildings and destroyed tanks. It was pretty fun when i played it.

Actually, the only reason I play now is because nearly the entire group now goes to the same college.  The first 2 years?  We all split up and went to different colleges, now 6 of us have transferred into one school [Pitt]  It literally happened that way, with none of us consulting/planning, Pitt just happens to be the best 2nd tier school locally so . . . [None of us were getting into CMU, or PAYING for Duquesne.] 

I played tons of 40k before I realized it was table top games or videogames. (edit: $)

TMNT had the best character creation system for animorph-mutants and martial arts in my experience. Great use of Gurps.

When I owned my restaurant, I used to work 16-18 hours a day, but we use to meet at the restaurant every other week to play after hours and drink my personal beer stash.  So I played more when I was busier, strange.  Now I am back in school, and I can't get the group together (different cities/groups, I grew up in orlando, the restaurant was in S.FL, and now I am back in orlando).

I play the occasional D&D. Got some cool novelty dice, even.

Yeah, started at age 9 with some board classics; Warhammer Quest and Heroquest. Then we started playing AD&D seriously. I've been a gamemaster for Rolemaster, Battletech, Vampire The Masquerade and D20 in recent years. They're all great!
My first character on AD&D is actually one of the main characters in my novel, and I played him for nearly 5 years!

I'll be getting my first Pen & Paper RPG later today.

Yea TMNT had a really good Character Creation System. I remember one of my best characters i made was a wolf who was mutated to a human form but had all the senses of a wolf. He was created as an a assassin by a government agency.
