I hope it bombs. But I know it will not.

It will not sell nearly as well as PSP MH games did, though, but it still will do well. Certainly it will become the best selling 3rd party Wii game in Japan.

However, I heard that Capcom is going to launch it during this summer. That way it will go head to head with DQIX .. it may have an effect.

Why would you hope it bombs?!

Saleswise I do believe this will be a hit and boost Wii hardwaresales.

It won´t beat the portable versions that´s for sure but it should beat MH2 on PS2, shouldn´t it? That´s great enough for me. It would be great if it would be a millionseller.

just a guess, but prolly because he's an ignorant fanboy.

Sure. Yet I am certainly less ignorant than you are.

how am i ignorant? i made a guess. you told me i was right. didnt say anything else.

The way you responded to my/samusaranrules posts shows who is the ignorant one here.

Edit: Soriku: I've never said that either.

It's an easy consensus to come up with. Not as good as PSP, but not bad by any metric (unless it fails to profit at the high levels it's going to sell)

Monster Hunter: pissing me off since 2010.

What about that video showing the several-hour lineup to play the game at E3, longer than any other game?

 E3?

Sorry, meant to say TGS, like in the pictures Benga posted.

Could I trouble you for some maple syrup to go with the plate of roffles you just served up?

"Ok, girl's trapped in the elevator, and the power's off.  I swear, if a zombie comes around the next corner..."

Recently, I've seen many people sayin that MH3 will boost the wii in japan. I really don't think it will happen. It seems that japanese people want to play this game on a handheld: http://vgchartz.com/games/index.php?name=monster+hunter&console=&region=All&developer=&publisher=&genre=&keyword=&boxart=Both&results=50&order=Hits They'll probably wait for the next PSP version of the game. So please guys, stop sayin "MH3 will be a storm in japan" or stuff like that, that's non sense!

You will have to define selling "well" first. If it sells 5 million, did it sell well? What about if it sells 2 million? What if it sells  only 500,000 copies.  At least stake out your neck and make a prediction we can hold you to.

If the Japanese want to play this game on a handheld and not a console, then maybe you should not hold your breath for the next PSP version, but your should start looking forward to the DS version, which by your logic, would probably sell twice as well as the PSP version.

Just like what happened with Phantasy Star Portable and Phantasy Star Zero...

Guys he is not going to respond...he just wants you to post in his nonsense thread...I request a thread lock.

Explanation of sig:

I am a Pakistani.....my name is Dan....how hard is that? (Don't ask about the 101...apparantely there are more of me out there....)

ME 2, the game will sell a lot, and even it does not, Wii still has an AAA game stolen from Ps3 right!?

don't mind my username, that was more than 10 years ago, I'm a different person now, amazing how people change ^_^

It won't get to the PSP version heights, partly because Japan has lost interest in static consoles, partly the size of the userbase. But it should handily make 1 million, perhaps reaching 1.5 million, which is impressive for Japan. And the migration of such a big franchise from one console to another is bound to stimulate some "system seller" ability too.

MH on Wii will outsell any game on 360/PS3 in Japan and boost Wii hardware sales by 99999999999 consoles. This is probably the biggest lost exclusive for the PS3 side (apart from FFXIII). I think you are extremely wrong in your OP.
