Recently, I've seen many people sayin that MH3 will boost the wii in japan. I really don't think it will happen. I still get the feeling....

Its still going to sell insanely well on the Wii.

The Wii is popular(everywhere),Monster Hunter is popular(in japan).I think its going to do well.

It will depend on the sales of Monster Hunter G: if this games does ok, for sure that there is a big fanbase on the Wii waiting for MH3.

It's not a question of fanbase, it's a question of "philosophy": looks like people wanna play the game in the bus, the subway, in the car etc etc, they don't consider the game as a console game, that's it.

lets see one of teh biggest franchises in that country will not sell well b/c its not on a handheld, despite that fact people would be willing to kill for it.....

I hope it bombs. But I know it will not.

It will not sell nearly as well as PSP MH games did, though, but it still will do well. Certainly it will become the best selling 3rd party Wii game in Japan.

However, I heard that Capcom is going to launch it during this summer. That way it will go head to head with DQIX .. this may cause an effect.

Saleswise I do believe this will be a hit and boost Wii hardwaresales.

It won´t beat the portable versions that´s for sure but it should beat MH2 on PS2, shouldn´t it? That´s great enough for me. It would be great if it would be a millionseller.

as long as you don't have to pay to play, it will sell well, i personally have been waiting for a game like this since the original phantasy star online, this better be free to play though.
